LushUs Kids provides natural and organic hair care products formulated with tropical ingredients from the island of Jamaica.

Children are often the greatest motivators for a parent, so when Founder & CEO, Cherlyn Carby decided to launch her brand LushUs Kids, her desire was to help her own daughter to achieve healthier hair. What Cherlyn didn’t know was that this calling would happen during the pandemic, at a time where mandates and lockdowns were rampant, she decided to be innovative and push through. A true mompreneur - she was working two jobs and raising two amazing children, while creating a brand and a business that they can inherit.

Drawing from the inspiration of her Jamaican roots, she began whipping up recipes in her kitchen as she reminisced on the days her Mother would care for her hair, using home-grown fruits and vegetables that are indigenous to the island. Culturally, Jamaica is known for it’s natural resources, and Cherlyn, knew she wanted to stay true to her roots, by developing LushUs Kids products with ingredients like; guava, mango, jackfruit, irish moss, coconut, thyme and rosemary to create her products.

Cherlyn’s noticed her young daughter was experiencing excessive balding and after trying other products on the market, nothing seemed to work. She decided to create her own products - starting with a rosemary hair oil (which is now a best-seller), and within a few months, she started noticing significant growth in her daughters hair.
